A Monkey & A Clown

We really weren't super original with costumes for the kids. The monkey naturally is appropriate for our family, and the clown, well let's just say I'll probably hear about this in about ten years or so. Something like "why did Claxton get to be the cute monkey and I had to dress in some silly clown outfit on my first Halloween?"

We went to about five or six of our neighbor's houses and Claxton did very well with the routine - ring the door bell, say trick-or-treat, then say thank you. Sometimes he would forget the trick-or-treat part and just say thank you. I'd rather have it that way than the other way around.

He was intrigued about us walking around the neighborhood in the dark. And kept saying "this is fun walking in the dark."
