In sales, they always teach you to use questions to lead your customer to answer yes when it comes time to close the deal.
For a while, Claxton would state what he wanted immediately followed by a very positive "OK!". It was always funny, but we never thought much of it.
Recently, we have really started to teach Claxton how to properly ask for things. "May I please..." and "Would you please...". Claxton has really taken to it, maybe even to much. "May I please have sharks (they're fruit snacks)?" And without breaking stride he simple states "Yes, you may!"
He's almost two and a half. A salesman in the making. I'm just a little scared!
